Join us on the second Saturday of each month to learn tips for knitting and crocheting or to share projects you are working on. The group is open to people of all skills levels, and is led by librarian Karen Gurski. Come in and learn how to knit that scarf you've had your eye on or crochet that afghan you saw and loved. Meetings are at 1 PM.
During fall 2013, crafters will be making 8" x 8" squares. The squares will be made into afghans and throws, which will be given away to local charities. Any pattern, knitted or crocheted, may be donated. Squares should be 8" x 8 ", with an 18" tail. Non-allergenic, washable yarn should be used. (No wool, cotton or special yarns.) Worsted yarns are available at the library for anyone to pick-up. Squares can be made at home and donated at any time.
