Tech Training at Your Library - June 2014

The Library provides free tech training at a variety of times. Training ranges from beginner courses to computer applications to neat resources on the web. Sessions last approximately 60 - 90 minutes, and are limited to four participants.

During June, we are offering training on these topics: basic computers, tablets, desktop publishing, Excel 2007, Word 2007, Facebook, Pinterest 101, Goodreads, and Google. Our special program is Resume Review. View our complete June 2014 Tech Training schedule.

Donate Your Formal Wear for Once Upon a Prom

Doing some spring cleaning? Have you discovered formal wear and accessories that you don't need anymore?

We are now accepting donations all year round for our annual Once Upon a Prom event. We are interested in dresses, suits, wraps, shoes, and jewelry, all in good condition.

Money Smart Week 2014

Money Smart Week is a public awareness campaign designed to help you better manage your personal finances and learn the importance of financial literacy. A variety of Chicago area organizations are taking part, and you are invited to participate in the free educational seminars and activities running from April 5 - 12, 2014.

At Your Library

  • Our collection offers a variety of books, audiobooks, ebooks, and DVDs about finances, budgets, credit, investing, debt, and much more. Ask at either Information Desk for help locating these materials.
