Tiny Bonds Trading Stamps
In summer 2004, the library received a donation of Tiny Bonds Trading Stamp Books from Ms. Sharon Wendt, a former resident. These stamp books were issued by several businesses located along Franklin Ave., and include: J & S Men’s & Boy’s Wear, Milton Shoes, Roz-Lyn’s Specialty Shop (complete line of dresses) and Towne and Country Shoppe (children’s wear).
- J & S Men’s & Boys Wear was located at 9613 Franklin Ave. (1947-1992). See cover or stamps.
- Milton Shoes was located at 9713 Franklin Ave. (1952?-1979). See cover or stamps.
- Roz-Lyn’s Specialty Shop was located at 9653 Franklin Ave., and later at 9616 Franklin Ave. (1952?-1970?). See cover or stamps.
