National Friends of Libraries Week 2012

October 21 - 27 marks the national celebration of the Friends of Libraries. Our Friends Group is a non-profit organization that supports the library by providing volunteer services, sponsoring programming and events, and funding library programs. The Friends have a variety of activities planned for this week, and they encourage you to become a Friend, too.

• All Week: Friends' Membership Drive - Stop by Frank the Friendly Pumpkin's table to sign up
• Monday - Friday: Scavenger Hunt - Pick up a form from Frank the Friendly Pumpkin
• Monday: Video Sale - Videos are 2 for 50 cents
• Friday: Last day to submit your Scavenger Hunt findings!
• Saturday: Friends Open Meeting / Treats
